Its as good as it gets, I love just sitting there in the bar and glazing out at the Ocean and watching the sunset. I so enjoy coming to the Crows Nest, I stay across the street in the World Famous Oregon Trail Motel, which is old, but has been fixed up a little at a time.
The Crows Nest Fish and Chips are out of this world, fish tacos to die for and the Pizza is the very best. I usually take a pizza back to the Motel and have it for Breakfast with some coffee from that big silver urn. Oh so sweet.
I only wish, Mr Bill, who along with his wife, who won 12.2 million Megabucks, would have had the courtesy to leave a tip or some sort. I heard not even one thin dime tip. I was thinking more on the line of $12,200 for each of the people working the hour the ticket was sold, since it was a quick pick. So what if 3 or 4 were working, whats $50,000 when ya all just got $12.2 million. Oh well, maybe its just me, Tina I sure miss you. -

Holy crap, more of a crash than a dive bar. Obnoxious, rude female bartender older than...
Hot, no fresh air in the place, distant view of the ocean, overpriced for its ambiance and decor, and service.
One of only two bars in town, the other one isn't much better, and the bartender's reputation is known there as well.
And even though the locals were entertaining,
if I hadn't stopped to watch a soccer game, I would have left immediately. -

Looking for an inexpensive dinner, we walked into this place we felt like we had come in the back/wrong door even though it was the entrance on the main street. We were greeted with a friendly hello from the kitchen and sat ourselves past the pool table and in the bar. The bartender greeted is with a smile and explained when we asked for a menu that it was written on the dry erase board. Looking around the old building, covered in a layer of dust we got a laugh at the bon mot including the one that read "Hippies use back door. NO EXCEPTIONS"
I ordered a Bloody Mary that was sort of lacking even in a salted rim, but the food made me temporarily forget. I ordered the Reuben. My husband, being a burger addict, ordered the burger. Hands down the best Reuben I've ever had! They didn't have Thousand Island dressing and offered mustard which I don't typically care for. So the cook made me his delicious version of a thousand island dressing. The Reuben was hot and so delicious, that I only ate the lovely, worthy dressing because he made it special for me. The sandwich didn't need it at all though. Burger was amazing, too. I had a bite of it and the meat was seasoned perfectly and tastefully. This might feel like a typical hole-in-the-wall dive bar, but the food is definitely not typical bar food. I'd certainly return without hesitation. Oh. And enjoy the view!!! -

We decided to check this place out. Wow, classic dive bar complete with a bear skin hanging on the wall, not quite displayed as hung up like someone's coat. Supposed to have the best pizza in town, and after reading some of the competition's review we went for the pizza. After sitting in the back at a table across from the multiple fish tanks filled with many nice fish. They have video poker games and a pool table. We switched to the front area at the bar for the beautiful view of the ocean. We were surrounded by locals and we're entertained by the scene. The bar was lively with Friday earliest, a birthday girl, talk of fishing in the Rogue river. The bar is full of "stuff" to look at. Pictures are following. The pizza was good, along with the beer. Will go again. Just wonder when they're scheduled for a deep clean.

If you're a sucker for dive bars with really good food, this is your place! If you park in the back you can go right into the bar. TVs turned to football games, high top tables and friendly people. While I hear that the fish tacos are outstanding, we all went for the burger. Fresh meat daily and each patty made to order. It came with fries and all the fixings. P.S. the Bloody Marys are very good.
